sexual orientation

A concept or self-concept of being emotionally or sexually attracted to another person of the same biological sex, the other sex, or potentially to either. Sexual orientation ranges from homosexuality (attraction to someone of the same sex) to heterosexuality (attraction to someone of the other sex) to bisexuality (the potential to be attracted to someone of either the same or the other sex).
