tricuspid valve

The valve between the right atrium (one of two upper chambers of the heart) and the right ventricle (one of two lower chambers of the heart). The tricuspid valve keeps blood from flowing back into the right atrium. It's named the tricuspid valve because it's made up of three triangular flaps.
