pseudogout

A chronic condition in which calcium deposits form within the joints, especially the knees. Pseudogout is similar in clinical appearance to gout (a disorder that causes sudden, recurring attacks of painful arthritis; gout is often related to abnormally high levels of uric acid in the blood).
